SPIRIT INTO MATTER (RNA TO DNA)

 

In Genesis 2:21-22, the passage describes the creation of woman from a “rib” taken from Adam. This “rib” has often been interpreted symbolically, but if we consider it through the lens of genetics, it opens up intriguing possibilities. Ribonucleic acid (RNA) and deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) are fundamental molecules in genetics, with RNA often acting as a messenger that carries genetic information for building and replicating life.

[21] So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh; [22] and the rib which the LORD God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man.

In this metaphorical interpretation, Adam’s rib, or ribonucleic acid (RNA), could represent the initial structure or blueprint of human life. When God creates woman, He takes this “rib” (RNA) and completes a new creation process, one that requires an even more stable, complex molecule—deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA)—to store the genetic instructions. In this view, the transition from RNA to DNA symbolizes a deepening complexity and stability in life, as DNA holds the long-term, hereditary information necessary for sustained, diverse life forms.

This analogy suggests that woman, as described in verse 22, represents not only the emergence of complementary partnership but also the evolutionary leap from single-function, replicative molecules (RNA) to the double-helix structure of DNA, embodying diversity, adaptability, and continuity. The “merging” of RNA into DNA signifies the building of a foundational bond, creating a new life structure that encompasses both the masculine and feminine—a complete and balanced expression of life.

In this interpretation, Adam originally existed in a spiritual space—a realm of pure consciousness and unity, known as Paradise or Eden. In this state, Adam embodied a form of life aligned with divine simplicity, where existence was unbroken, seamless, and free from the duality of the physical world. Here, Adam’s life essence was symbolized as a single strand of RNA—a messenger of divine intent, carrying only the necessary information to sustain his being within this realm of pure spirit.

However, the story takes a transformative turn when Eve eats from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. This act is not simply about disobedience; it represents a profound shift—a descent from a unified spiritual state into a realm of duality and physical embodiment. In this narrative, Eve’s choice acts as a catalyst for a major transformation. RNA, which was sufficient in Paradise, begins to transform into DNA, representing the movement of spirit into matter. Just as DNA is a double-stranded, stable molecule capable of complex life, this descent marks the shift from a purely spiritual existence into the complexity and multiplicity of the material world.

The transformation from RNA (spirit) to DNA (matter) symbolizes the soul’s journey into the matrix of physical reality, where spiritual essence is encoded within material form. Adam and Eve, once beings of light and simplicity, now take on physical bodies, bound by time, space, and the cycles of birth and death. The single strand of spiritual RNA evolves into the double helix of DNA, entwining both spirit and matter, light and dark, within the fabric of their being.

This “fall” into matter is not merely a punishment but rather a divine intention—a purposeful journey where spirit experiences itself within the confines of the physical, gaining wisdom, growth, and a deeper awareness of duality. The matrix of DNA, with its vast array of information and generational inheritance, serves as the blueprint for humanity’s collective evolution. Adam and Eve, now embedded in the physical world, carry within them the memory of Paradise—a spark of divinity that continues to seek, to remember, and ultimately to return to unity with the Creator.

Hot, Cold, and Lukewarm

In spiritual symbolism, temperature is often used as a metaphor to illustrate the depth of one’s faith and commitment. Just as water can be hot, cold, or lukewarm, faith too can take on different forms, each carrying its own meaning and consequence. Hot faith is passionate, devoted, and active, bringing peace and prosperity through a deep connection with the divine. Cold faith, while seemingly negative, represents a clear and decisive rejection of belief, which at least establishes a firm stance. However, it is the lukewarm state that is most concerning—a position of indifference, where faith is neither fully embraced nor entirely denied, making it ineffective and insincere. This triadic perspective aligns with the divine framework in Isaiah 45:7, where God is said to create both peace and calamity, showing that a definite stance—whether in acceptance or rejection—is preferable to spiritual complacency.

But could there be something else to consider while interpreting? Consider that Lukewarmness represents the dissolution of duality, where one neither aligns with the fervent devotion of hot nor the resolute rejection of cold, instead transcending both by refusing to engage in polarization. In this state, one exits the cycle of opposites, neither choosing light nor darkness, but dissolving into neutrality—leaving behind the construct of duality itself.

Hot (Peace)

Represents fervent, passionate faith and devotion. Like hot water, which can be soothing and healing, hot faith is active and life-giving. This parallels the “peace” or “prosperity” created by God in Isaiah 45:7, where active engagement and zeal in one’s faith reflect a state of harmony and spiritual prosperity.

COLD (EVIL)

Cold represents an outright rejection of faith or a definitive stance of disbelief. Like cold water, which can be refreshing and invigorating, a cold approach to faith is at least clear and resolute, rather than ambiguous or uncertain. This parallels the concept of “evil” or “disaster” as mentioned in Isaiah 45:7, where opposition to righteousness is acknowledged as a necessary part of divine balance. While seemingly negative, this coldness has a certain integrity—it establishes a firm position rather than wavering in uncertainty. In this state, one consciously turns away from faith, embracing a path that, while oppositional, is at least marked by clarity and decisiveness.

Lukewarm (Neutrality)

Lukewarm represents a state of indifference, hesitation, and lack of commitment—a place of stagnation where one refuses to choose either devotion (hot) or rejection (cold). Like lukewarm water, which is neither soothing nor refreshing, this state lacks the conviction necessary for spiritual progression. Neither fully engaged in faith nor fully rejecting it, the lukewarm individual is caught in a passive, uncommitted existence, making them spiritually ineffective. This condition is particularly offensive because it reflects a half-hearted, insincere relationship with God, where one does not fully embrace belief yet also refuses to take a clear stance against it. This neutrality results in neither growth nor transformation, leaving the individual spiritually stagnant and disconnected from any true sense of purpose.

Lukewarm as Neutrality

In a deeper sense, being lukewarm can symbolize a state of neutrality where one becomes aware of the dualistic nature of reality—understanding that both “good” and “evil” are created and controlled by God. This awareness can lead to a release from the polarized thinking of positive and negative. Recognizing the interplay of peace and disaster, as described in Isaiah 45:7, where God states, “I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster,” one sees that both aspects are integral to the fabric of existence.

Transcending Duality

When one perceives the dualistic nature of reality, they may become lukewarm to release the polarization. This state of neutrality is not about complacency or indifference but rather about transcending the simplistic binary of good versus evil.

By embracing a lukewarm state, individuals may find themselves ready to exit the Matrix—a metaphor for the constructed reality of dualistic perceptions—and move onto the next level of spiritual existence. This involves understanding that good and evil are part of a grander divine plan and not necessarily opposing forces.

The Matrix and Spiritual Ascension

In spiritual terms, the Matrix represents the illusion of the material world and the entrapment within dualistic thinking. Being lukewarm can signify a readiness to see beyond this illusion, no longer aligning with the extremes of hot (peace) or cold (rejection), but instead preparing for spiritual ascension. This readiness involves recognizing the artificial constructs of good and evil and understanding that they are part of the same illusion, designed to keep one locked in the cycle of duality. By breaking free from these limitations, one begins to perceive reality from a higher vantage point, where existence is not about opposition but about integration and transcendence.

Preparation for the Next Level

The next level of existence is characterized by an expanded consciousness that goes beyond duality and its polarizing forces. This is the state of spiritual enlightenment, where one sees unity in all things and understands that division is an illusion crafted by the material world. Here, individuals no longer react to the extremes of dualism but operate from a perspective of wholeness, guided by divine awareness rather than conflict. By transcending the pull of opposites, one becomes free from the cycles of attachment and aversion, no longer bound by the forces that once dictated perception and experience.

PASSAGE TO…

Down in the deep dark waters, there reaches a point to where there’s no more light.
If you lived in these waters the image, you’ve gazed at the light wondering what it 
might offer you — is there something in that light which is why you’re drawn to it?


This image is an amazing illustration outlining our quest for the unknown. At birth,
we’re typically born from the darkness into the light. Coming out of our mother’s womb 
where we just spent about nine months in the dark is a huge contrast going to the light.
Yet this is how we’re programmed — coming from the dark and being born into the light.

This image shows how light is an Archetype — it hunts for darkness and those in it. It’s
as if the Light is marketing to the Dark looking to sell it something. And it does. Light sells
Purity, Cleanliness and Holiness. Its position is offering change in a revolutionary way. In the image above, the light above the hole offers a complete Transmutation.

Yet isn’t the darkness offering the same thing? 


If you were the observers above the hole looking down into the water, you would have 
the same observations. The darkness is like the light, an Archetype which hunts — hunting
for those in the light. The darkness sells seduction, manifestation and safety. 

Either way you look at this image, there’s a polarity playing out that’s necessary for
reality to exist in the way we perceive it. Darkness is the absence of light, and light is the
absence of darkness. Blend em’ both together and we have matter, the essence of the
Human Being experience.

In this hypothesis, the world operates without organized religion, without saviors, and without the belief in salvation or an afterlife. While the concept of a Creator or higher power exists, the focus shifts entirely to the material and observable aspects of existence by way of the Spiritual. The absence of traditional religious doctrines profoundly affects culture, ethics, community structures, and individual psychology.

Societal Structure

  1. Ethics and Morality:
  • Morality becomes more humanistic and utilitarian, focusing on the well-being and happiness of individuals and societies. Ethical frameworks are developed through reason, empathy, and consensus rather than religious doctrines.
  • Laws and social norms are based on practical considerations of harm and benefit, promoting cooperation and mutual respect.

  • Education emphasizes critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and philosophical exploration. Curriculums include ethics, civic responsibility, and environmental stewardship.
